Large ingestion of yeast supplements can trigger gastrointestinal upset, gas production, and abdominal discomfort in pets. While not as dangerous as raw rising dough, concentrated tablets or powders can still cause significant signs in small animals. Products may also include additional active ingredients that change risk. Dose-based guidance is helpful to determine whether home monitoring is enough.
