Surgical delivery when labor stalls or fetal distress is suspected — paired with our reproductive medicine expertise.

Bladder stone surgery, abscess treatment, and other soft-tissue operations that should not wait for a routine slot.
When surgery cannot wait
Urgent surgery is for problems that should not be scheduled days later: deep wounds, suspected obstruction, stalled labor, uncontrolled bleeding, and acute abdominal pain that may need an operation. Walk in during open hours, or call (801) 218-2227 on your way so the surgical team can prepare.
We start with triage and stabilization — pain control, fluids, and diagnostics — then operate when that is the safest next step. If overnight ICU-level care or a board-certified specialist is the better path, we coordinate transfer.

What to expect
Patients are triaged by medical need. We explain findings, options, and risks in plain language and provide an estimate before surgery whenever clinically possible. After the procedure, short-term hospitalization may be recommended before discharge.

Can you perform urgent surgery today?
During our open hours we can evaluate urgent surgical cases and operate when medically indicated. Call (801) 218-2227 ahead when possible so our team can prepare.
Is urgent surgery the same as a 24/7 emergency hospital?
No. We provide same-day urgent surgery during open hours (11:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily) and are not a 24/7 emergency hospital. When overnight ICU-level support is needed, we coordinate transfer with trusted 24/7 hospitals.
What if I am not sure my pet needs surgery?
Walk in for urgent care or call us. We will examine your pet, run diagnostics if needed, and tell you whether surgery, medical management, or transfer is the right next step.
Do you perform orthopedic or specialty urgent surgery?
We focus on soft-tissue surgical cases appropriate to our facility. Complex orthopedic or specialty cases may be referred to a board-certified surgeon; we discuss options honestly.
