From the moment I first called in a panic to the moment I walked out the door I knew bringing my pet here was the right choice!! This place is a gem and I am so glad to have them around. When I realized it was an emergency I legitimately had the thought “am I gonna need to take out a second mortgage”??? But when it came time to pay my total was less than I could’ve ever expected!! Almost had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming up the whole thing!! When I expressed my shock asking if that was actually the total they explained that since they are privately owned rather than corporate they get to price fairly. Can’t even imagine how many corporate monsters (that probably don’t even have a pet of their own) my dollars have helped send to Lake Cuomo. But that is no more!! I will be coming here. Supporting a local honest business. (So the people doing the real work can go on a nice trip sometimes that they actually deserve!) You’ve got a customer for life!! There was actually a man while I was there getting upset with a receptionist about how if they went to a different place it would be way cheaper and they were basically robbing them… I wanted to ask where this place was because not trying to be nosey but the total I heard you give you as the *high end* was less than I’ve paid for routine visits… I held my tongue because they were a critical case and I know stress can make us more snappy and unreasonable. The girl took it so well though, and handled it better than I wanted to simply as a bystander!! Also, all the girls at the front were so kind and look like they actually want to and love to be there!! Rare these days, I swear I can’t remember the last time I saw a receptionist smile anywhere! The nurse was wonderful as well, (I believe her name was Kaitlyn?) she made me feel at ease and so safe. The doctor was great and you could tell she actually cared and wanted the best for our sweet girl, not just suggesting whatever is easiest or would make the most money. Almost wish she could be my human doctor too!! I really just appreciated the honesty and transparency of the entire ordeal. Been thinking about the experience for weeks and realized I needed to finally sit down a write a review! (Which I NEVER do) So thank you for existing, and if you are still wondering if you should come here or not, do it. You won’t regret it!!
Dr. Sharber and her team were great with my senior dog. He had some wounds that needed immediate surgical care. Pricing was reasonable. He was seen and treated quickly. I never felt rushed throughout the entire experience. In fact, I felt between the technicians and the doctor, they were extremely thorough in going over treatment, next steps, and any concerns I had. I feel like this clinic has their heart in the right place and they really did an amazing job addressing my dog’s condition. If you choose this facility for care, you won’t have any doubts your pet will be in good hands. You need someone you can trust when your pets need emergency care. Utah Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Herriman is the one.

I had a great experience at this clinic. It’s brand new, so everything is spotless. Everyone was kind and attentive—especially Sydney, who was incredibly helpful. She even spoke with my regular veterinarian over the phone and explained everything to me with great clarity and patience. I highly recommend this place.
I brought my German Shepherd here to get OFAs done and I was so impressed by all the staff. They were informative, kind, and warm. I definitely would come back in a heartbeat.
Brought in our sick doggo last night and was met with nothing but kindness and care from ALL of the staff. We had to say goodbye to our pup and the vet was incredibly caring and made us feel as comfortable as possible while giving all the info we needed. By far the best emergency veterinarian I've ever been to.
Yesterday was probably one of the worst days of my life. Making the impulsive choice to come to this provider all the way from the bottom of Utah county was the very best possible choice I could have made. Their price is dead on for the market, and is clearly communicated upfront, the service and level of care however is absolute peak. I don't think you can find a better staffed, or equipped provider for emergency vetranian care in Utah. The practice is owned and operated by the doctors practicing there, which means there's no corporate barriers to offering the best possible experience to their patients. From what I've seen, they strive actively to provide that experience at every level of the visit. Communication was on point. Realistic expectations for treatment and outcomes were delivered as soon as available. The reviews for this vet are well earned. This provider has earned my review, trust, and my future business squarely on merit. Yesterday was the worst, but UVEC was the very best part of a terrible day.

This will be my new clinic now!! Seriously everyone here is actually the sweetest bunch of people you’ll ever meet in your life. I took my cat in for an emergency visit and they were so amazing at answering all of my questions and making sure I was comfortable with everything she had done. They’re fairly priced especially given that it was an emergency visit. You can just tell everyone here actually wants to help your pet and is knowledgeable with all they do. They even called me the day after to check in on my kitty which meant so much to me. Extremely clean facility until my cat came in and shedded all of her fur everywhere. Your animal will be in good hands if you go here!
I would highly recommend this emergency vet office. Though whole experience from calling to leaving was a 10/10. They gave me a quote over the phone with no problems, said quote was $7,000 cheaper than the emergency vet I was already at. And when it came down to it they recommended not doing surgery and just monitoring my dog. She is completely fine now and surgery indeed wasn’t needed. They care more about you and your animal more than lining their pockets. The whole staff was very friendly and loving towards my dog. Unless something happens to my pets outside of their business hours, because they aren’t a 24 hour facility, I will never go anywhere else again.
