Amazing experience here, amazing and friendly staff, nice facility, and fairly priced compare to others. They are our new go to location for anything our pets need.
My husband and I took our kitten here. The staff was amazing. Their prices compared to other emergency vets are great! They helped our kitten within 10 minutes. They explained everything that was going on and a treatment plan thoroughly. We will definitely come back if we have another emergency. Fingers crossed we don’t haha but go to them, they’re amazing!
This is one of the only privately owned Vetrinary offices around. That being said if you want people that actually care about your animals this is the place for you. My cat developed severe kidney failure and ended up having to be put to sleep. These folks took such good care of her in her final weeks including facilitating coming to our home when time ran out. All in all It cost me about 10% of what other Vets had quoted me just to perform testing... Dr. Sharber was amazing to work with. I will not ever go to another facility with any of my animals. This place needs to be protected!!!

The hospital was excellent- really clean! But it was the staff that made our visit so nice. They were thoughtful and compassionate with both our pet and us. Definitely will use UVEC when an emergency situation comes up!
They are the best. Locally owned and operated which is so rare with Vets nowadays. I can’t recommend them enough. Their number one interest is taking care of your pet.
Fast and prompt service and reasonably priced
I had to take my companion of 14 years in for euthanasia. Really bad day, but the staff here were so compassionate and caring. About a week later I received a hand written sympathy card that each staff member took the time to write on, along with an ink print of my dog’s paw and his nose. Would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone.
All the staff were amazing! Excellent care and paid less for an emergency visit that I did for a scheduled exam at my regular vet. So refreshing. They are the best!
This place is great, and priced very reasonably. They have many finance options that almost everyone can use and be approved on. Open during very convenient times as well. Can take a little while depending on the issue your are going for.
I came to Utah Veterinary Emergency Center to find out what the lump by my Sareena dog’s jaw is. Abby checked us in and was helpful and kind, friendly with a welcoming attitude. Kylie, the nurse, was very helpful and patient. She is knowledgeable and experienced, evidenced by her questions, answers and manner with which she helped me understand and realize my options. Dr. Fisher has an excellent approach to humans and animals. I appreciated her assessment and information concerning my little buddy. Based on Dr. Fisher’s genuinely thoughtful relay of what Sareena’s situation may be caused by, I made an appointment for teeth cleaning, which she had done today. Will administer the antibiotic and pain medications as directed. Should the lump not respond to this dental cleaning and these medications, we would take the route of aspirating the liquid in the lump for testing. I learned this new term through Kylie’s and Dr. Fisher’s discussions. I hope to return with my other dog and one of my cats for their annual exams and vaccinations, as I am looking for a new veterinarian since mine retired. Make your visit to this woman owned urgent and basic care facility and I believe you will be impressed as I was.
So happy this business is in Herriman. My dog got a nasty cut on his paw pad, my regular vet was closed, the other emergency location was closing soon and they referred me to Utah Veterinary Emergency Center. I was checked in and met with a nurse and the vet quickly, they provided a detailed estimate that was very reasonable, and my pup was stitched up in less than 45 minutes. The ladies there were incredibly kind, professional, and personable. I honestly wish I could just have them be my regular vet! The location is very nice, just off Mt. View corridor, the office is new, clean and welcoming. When we were discharged, they followed up with the final invoice, after care instructions and details via email as well as the printouts we had in the medication bag. I could tell they truly cared about my dog, their pricing was fair (actually less than I anticipated) and I was thoroughly impressed.
Customer service was excellent. Staff was very friendly and made sure we were at ease with our dog’s surgery.
We were very pleased with the care our 11 year old dog received. After getting a nasty infection from a bite, our dog was not doing well at all. Our regular vet performed an operation to remove the infection, but our dog was still not doing well. We went to UVEC and they were compassionate and sympathetic about our situation. Come to find out, the original operation was not done 100% correctly and the infection was still present. UVEC did their thing and now our dog is like a puppy again. Thank you!
Our cat was lost for 8 days; we found her in a storm drain likely hit by a car! We were so worried about her so we rushed her here and they took such good care of her! Performed an amputation and wound care on site and we were able to take her home same day!
My wife and I had an issue with our sweet dog monkey. Kylie and the rest of their team took really good care of her. Their prices are really affordable for an emergency vet. This team is completely top notch and if something ever happens to monkey again or even my two cats we will take them here. Thank you so much for taking care of monkey me and my wife are really greatful and appreciative of everything your team has done for us in the past 24 hours.
We sadly had to have our sweet dog in of many years put down. Dr. Sharber and her assistant were so kind and compassionate during this difficult time for us. Their expertise, knowledge and tender caring were so greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend them for any and all pet care.
Dr. Sharber and the staff are all incredible! This was easily the best and fastest vet experience I’ve had, especially for emergency care. I brought my Bernedoodle here after she got a large splinter that went all the way through her paw pad, and they saw us immediately and took care of it much faster than any other vet I’ve visited! They were so kind and took excellent care of my sweet Cleo 🥹 15/10, I will come back here every time I need emergency pet care!!
